Workshop Auto-Mechanic Intern job at Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)

Main Learning areas/Tasks include, but not limited to:
• Motor vehicle servicing with the supervision of senior mechanics in all motor vehicles, Generators, and motor pumps.

• Spare parts management and special tools stores and MSF spare parts catalog.
• Workshop administration internal processes i.e. opening and closing job cards, filing, etc.

• Auto-electrical and onboard diagnostic systems (OBD), repairs of electronics in vehicles.

• Tyre management, IT maintenance systems, and wheel balancing.
• Health (First Aid), Safety (Use of PPEs), Environment and Waste Management.

• Vehicle inspections and reporting on defects and works process flow.
• General knowledge of the organization and motor vehicle industry.

Education:
Final year in Higher National Diploma or Diploma in Automotive Engineering, seeking industrial attachment (Evidence of school’s transcripts in the last academic year).
Language:
• English and Local language (Luganda, etc.).
