Activities
• Oversee and monitor the supply chain flow of Drilling & Wells materials from purchase to payment.
• Launch Request for Quotations (RFQs) or Call for Tenders (CFTs) as necessary to procure materials/services in compliance with regulations and company procedures.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company codes of conduct, policies, and applicable laws.
• Promote national content development through supplier/contractor engagement.
• Coordinate damages or discrepancies of received items with end-users, warehouse personnel, and freight forwarders.
• Organize import/export cargo planning and manage transport strategies (chartered or scheduled vessels).
• Collaborate with logistics and drilling contract owners to consolidate cargoes and choose appropriate transport modes.
• Communicate with relevant authorities regarding import/export and clearance processes.
• Stay updated on laws and regulations governing import/export, customs, and freight forwarding.
• Coordinate Service Quality Meetings (SQMs) with freight forwarding and customs brokerage contractors.
• Regularly conduct meetings with end-users, cost control, and warehouse personnel.
Person Specification
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Practical experience in the drilling/petroleum industry is an advantage.
Experience:
• Minimum of 4 years international experience in procurement.
• Strong understanding of drilling services or petroleum field operations.
• Hands-on experience with procurement systems (e.g., SAP or online procurement tools).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
