JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
To develop and implement marketing, corporate communication, public relations and social responsibility and customer experience strategies to ensure effective market penetration, market share growth and positive public relations in line with the Bank’s strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute marketing, communication, PR and Branding strategies to ensure and promote visibility, consistency and positive image of the Bank.
• Ensure articulation and consistent communication of the Bank’s desired image and position both internally and externally.
• Develop short and long-term plans and budgets for Marketing, communications, public relations and Brand management programs and activities.
• Commission appropriate and relevant market research and develop strategies to counter competition to support the Bank’s strategies.
• Develop and implement integrated PR plans to support and supplement various
• brand and product events and activities e.g. launches, sponsorships, promotions, conferences, and Business clinics in line with the Bank’s objectives.
• Organize and coordinate bank events like press briefs, conferences news releases to provide information to the general public and the Bank’s key stakeholders.
• Champion strategies to strengthen engagement between the Bank and its key
• stake holders.
• Create publicity to promote the Bank’s corporate image by proactively putting in place strategies, platforms and events that ensure positive brand visibility
• Develop strategies to improve the Bank’s Customer experience and overseas customer service to ensure customers have a great experience.
Education.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communication, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Management or any relevant field from a recognized institution.
• Professional Marketing qualification like CIM is an added advantage.
• Possession of a certified Banking qualification or Master’s Degree is also an added advantage.
Experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ work experience preferably in the financial services industry at middle management level and above in marketing, communications & Public relations or related fields.

• Excellent understanding of the Banking Act and prudential guidelines.
