JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary:
The Plant Operator I (Quality, Inspection and Testing) is responsible for operating the wash facility at the Kiira Vehicle Plant, washing and cleaning the assigned Company Vehicles including vehicle parts and components.

Salary Scale: KT8(1)
Report to: Plant Operator III

Key Functions:
• Operate the wash facility at the Kiira Vehicle Plant and wash and clean the assigned Company Vehicles including vehicle parts and components.
• Support the maintenance and repair of Workshop Equipment, Machinery and Tools.
• Support the various company product support engagements and initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, uncluttered, and safe work environment observing and practicing high standards of health, safety, and environment.
• Lead, mentor, develop, coach, and train peers to help them be successful in their roles and to progress in their skills and abilities.
• Develop and implement Monthly Work Plans necessary for executing the above duties and responsibilities and Performance Reports detailing all aspects relating to Cleaning and/or Maintenance of Company Vehicles.
• Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Minimum Academic Qualifications
Worker’s Practically Acquired Skills (Worker’s PAS) as Service Bay /Washing Bay Attendant.

Minimum Experience
The Applicant should have Served as a Building Services/Workshop Attendant/Service Bay Attendant/Washing Bay Attendant for at least Two (2) years.

Core Competencies
• Vehicle washing and Cleaning.
• Machine Operating Skills.
• Ability to operate and move equipment/vehicles in and out of wash bay.
• Ability to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
• Interpretation of Technical and Engineering Documentation
