JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
The Facilities Assistant III (HVAC Systems) is responsible installing, inspecting, and repairing Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) Systems to make sure all building services and fixtures operate correctly.

Report to: Administration Officer
Direct Reports: Facilities Assistant II
Key Functions:
• Read and interpret blueprints to assess and/or plan HVAC installations and layouts.
• Carry out regular maintenance and repair of existing HVAC systems and carry out installation of new HVAC systems.
• Inspect and test HVAC systems for safety, functionality, and compliance to standards and regulations.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems, cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Maintain a clean, uncluttered, and safe work environment observing and practicing high standards of health, safety, and environment.
• Lead, mentor, develop, coach, train and appraise subordinates and peers to help them be successful in their roles and to progress in their skills and abilities.
• Develop and implement Monthly Work Plans necessary for executing the above duties and responsibilities and Performance Reports detailing all HVAC Systems within the company.
• Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Minimum Academic Qualifications
• Ordinary/National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning with at least Credit Class or Equivalent from a recognized Institution.
• Craft /Advanced/National Certificate in Electrical Installation, UVQF Level II/Trade Certificate in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning or related field.
Minimum Experience
The applicant should have General Working Experience of at least Three (3) years. The applicant should have served in the role of installation, service, maintenance, and repair of HVAC Systems in a reputable organization for at least Two (2) years.
