Senior Accountant Revenue job at Joint Clinical Research Centre (JCRC)
JCRC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant-Revenue to oversee all revenue operations within the organization. Responsibilities include recognizing project funds and income from other operations, ensuring accurate recording in the accounting system, and reporting on departmental performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recognizing all revenue from projects.
• Invoicing all customers and ensuring timely collection of revenue.
• Preparing monthly revenue reports by income source and customer ageing reports.
• Conduct accurate customer and project reconciliations monthly.
• Review and update all memoranda of understanding between JCRC and corporate clients.
• Ensure timely billing and collection of revenue from RCES.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audit processes, providing documentation and explanations as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field with an accounting focus.
• Partial professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA (Should be at level 3)
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in donor-funded projects.
• Strong knowledge of general fund accounting, internal control systems, and grant management.
• Proven ability to develop and implement financial procedures and controls to ensure organizational compliance and efficiency.
Competence Requirements:
• Advanced Excel proficiency for reporting and analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Advanced knowledge of Navision ERP is advantageous).
• Leadership skills for team management.
• Effective time management and prioritization abilities. Key Attributes:
