JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary:
The Information Systems Engineer shall be responsible for implementation of information systems at Kiira Motors Corporation.

Salary Scale: K6 (2)
Reports to: Senior Information Systems Engineer

Key Functions:
• Develop Software Applications: Develop software applications for various Mobility systems, such as infotainment, telematics, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and maintain the requisite network infrastructure to support in-vehicle and back-end systems, including connectivity solutions and Data Storage.
• Manage all Installed Systems and Infrastructure: Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools while ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
• Business Process Automation: Write and maintain custom programs to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on routine tasks; test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Establish Data Collection, Storage, and Analytics Systems for Vehicle-generated data and Human Resources data to support predictive maintenance, diagnostics, and performance optimization in a company.
• Information Systems Audits: Assess the current state of Information System controls, identify Technology and Security risks and develop remediation recommendations to enhance information security controls, and perform information security audits.
• Skilling and Capacity Development: Lead, mentor, develop, coach, train and appraise subordinates and peers to help them be successful in their roles and to progress in their skills and abilities.
• Reporting and Analysis: Develop and implement Monthly Work Plans necessary for executing the above duties and responsibilities and Performance Reports detailing all Information Systems Engineering aspects within the company.
• Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Minimum Academic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (Honors) in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized Institution.

Minimum Experience
The applicant should have General Working Experience of at least Two (2) years. The applicant should have served as an Information Systems Engineer or related field in a reputable organization for at least One (1) year.

Core Competencies
Demonstrated knowledge and skill in Software Development, Networks, and Cyber Security. System-level programming languages like C, C++, JavaScript, or Python. Knowledge of Relational databases such as SQL, and Oracle is desirable. Possession of relevant certifications, such as CCNA, CISSP, ISACA or Certified Ethical Hacker, is an added advantage.
