The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will Support the development and implementation of systems for monitoring and evaluation for “Citizens’ Action Against Corruption” activities and share information and knowledge, in line with project results; and collect, collate, analyse, and prepare MEL reports for the project

About the Citizens’ Action Against Corruption Activity: The high levels of corruption, permeating all sectors of Ugandan society is driven by growing impunity, citizen apathy and permissive social norms that promote, facilitate, and even justify corruption. While Uganda has the basic policies and institutional framework necessary to address corruption in place, the efforts have neither stopped, nor reduced the leakage of public resources, or enjoyed the confidence of the majority of citizens. A multipronged approach of strengthening accountability systems, as well as strengthening citizens’ action against corruption, as well as promoting positive norms is needed to make sustainable impact in the fight against corruption. Citizens’ Action Against Corruption is conceived to empower citizens to lead the anticorruption efforts and promote accountability.
