Driver job at Ministry of Water and Environment
Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding a Uganda Certificate of Education with at least a Pass in English Language. Applicants should have a valid Driving Permit of Class E, held for the last three years. A Certificate in defensive driving and training in road safety is an added advantage.
Working Experience
Applicants should have at least two (2) years driving experience
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the for performing the following duties:-
– Driving the vehicle for official duty and assignments;
– Maintaining and updating record of vehicle movement logbook, insurance, license service card;
– Reporting technical/mechanical faults to the Supervising Officer/Transport Officer;
– Ensuring cleanliness and safety of the assigned vehicle;
– Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
